I basically don't want to get in some complex state, where my main questline is locked too far and I have to do OF quests on the SAM map and my SAM main quest would then just be broken, because I won't have open provinces. How many expansions would I actually get throught the entire OF map? If I would just keep fighting on the map, I think I could maybe reach the SAM map. What will happen, if I take all the OF provinces before these type of quests? Will they autocomplete, or do I have to complete these quests on the VF/SAM map? Is this even a good idea? Some questlines in the OF require to "conquer four sectors". So, I will get locked pretty early on in the questline. I don't have any open researches left, because I used all of them for the AF questline. Do not misunderstand me, Im not complaining the fact that the battles are harder. I checked the oceanic main quest line and realized, that I would have to research technologies pretty early on to advance in said quest line. Yes, the habit was to enable it for the 2nd part of 3rd level and 1st part of 4th (in AF currently in OF Ive done 12/16 battles in 3rd level, all with the boost enabled). I just finished the artic future questline and the artic future map and made my way to the ocenic future map, which seems to be huge, having like 38 provinces. I'm currently in Postmodern era with Hover Tanks and I would like to stay here for quite some time.
